Central index for MUD soundpacks
The Soundpack Vault
MUD soundpacks should not vanish into forum posts, dead file hosts, old Discord pins, or someone’s lovingly chaotic Dropbox folder. The Vault collects them in one searchable place.
Browse by game, client, maintainer, or pack name. Where maintainers provide an official page, we link to that first. Where a pack risks disappearing, the Vault can list a mirror or source repository so players still have a trail to follow.

Why this exists
Soundpacks are part accessibility tool, part quality-of-life kit, and part community craft. They can announce combat warnings, exits, channels, room changes, afflictions, cooldowns, prompts, and a hundred other things that are easy to miss in fast scrolling text.
Blind and visually impaired players often rely on these packs to make busy MUD sessions easier to understand. Sighted players use them too, because a good audio cue is just plain useful. The Vault exists to help everyone find the right pack without needing to know which ancient forum thread, personal site, or GitHub repository to check first.
